ECW Warlord Green Test Figure Completed

In my previous post I sorted out what green I wanted for the coat by mixing up a few different hues from various GW Contrast Paints. Once I puzzled that out, it was time to take one of the miniatures over the finish line.

Everything was completed with Games Workshop Contrast Paints with the exception of the metals (Vallejo black, then Army Painter Plate Mail), the green line highlights on the coat, and the dots of white on the frilly cuffs.

Everything else was a single coat of Contrast Paint. The Snakebite Leather on the straps and the Skeleton Horde on the socks, cuffs, and apostles was a good choice. The GW CP Apothecary White on the bag and frilly cuffs shaded well.

I was able to finish this figure in no time at all. Only having to paint 90% of the miniature with one coat of paint is a great way to quickly get figures on the table. The rest of the unit awaits...
