Blood Bowl Orcs - Basecoats and Wash

With the human team completed from the Blood Bowl Box Set, it was time to turn my attention to the Orcs. Once again, I decided to follow the how-to video offered by Games Workshop.

I quickly applied the base coat colors on the models pictured above. The red took a few coats to achieve even coverage. The picture below shows the players after they were washed with Agrax Earthshade.

So far, so good. The wash darkened up the recesses and will make the figures pop once the highlights are applied. I'll have some pictures of that process soon. Surprisingly, the Games Workshop video suggests an old, and often scorned, technique for the next step.
