Battlegroup Kursk - Italeri Sd. Kfz. 11 & PAK 40 - Part 5

Now I am working on the PAK 40 and things are moving pretty quickly.

There are a lot of little pieces on this model. I am not kidding... there are a LOT of little pieces on this thing. I am reminded again that this really isn't a wargaming toy. There are all sorts of fiddly bits to break off.

The PAK 40 has the gun attached to the sprue right on the tip of the barrel so there isn't a hole there. That doesn't look good at all. I drilled out the gun barrel. It looks better that way. It's probably safer for the crew too.

All done! I should have this one ready for airbrushing this weekend as well.
