Flames of War: Primed Tamiya White
Here are the stripped figures after they have been primed with the Tamiya Fine Surface Primer.
From what I can see, there isn't any loss of detail and the primer went on pretty smoothly. Even though the Armory Black Primer is excellent, I have not had good results with the white. It was a little blotchy and spitty.
So the Tamiya primer looks like a winner. I picked up a can of light gray while I was at the hobby shop as well.
I mounted the figures on double-headed nails with Blu-Tac and then stuck them in a paper cup to hold them. Next up is painting two test figures!
